CALL FOR PAPERS
Scope
Various aspects of Information Technology can be used for assisting with patient’s recovery after undergoing a surgical operation, ranging from telemedicine networks for patient monitoring to involvements of biocompatibility and biomaterials used for filling or blocking lumens and voids of a patient. "ConnectingHealth" has the primary objective of "connecting" healthcare professionals and resources together, thereby effectively utilizing available resources for helping patients get through their recovery process after surgery. The workshop is aimed at providing tutorials and technical papers on Pervasive Computing and Healthcare with an emphasis on assisting remote patient monitoring with advanced technologies.
We are soliciting full papers in all research areas on patient monitoring applications. Topics of interest include, but not limited to:

All submitted papers will go
through a peer review process. All accepted papers will be included in the
Qshine 2008 Conference Proceedings. All accepted papers will be made available
in, Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Digital Library and then be
indexed by Engineering Information (EI). Selected papers from Qshine 2008 will
also be recommended to a special issue of a top journal. Please visit the
Publications page for more information:
